This is one of the questions I get asked the most, especially on my TikTok. What programming language should I learn first?
As a quick answer, here are the programming languages you should learn based on your field:
Web Development → JavaScript
Mobile Development → Kotlin (Android) / Swift (iOS)
Game Development → C# (using the Unity Game Engine)
Backend Development → Python
But if you don’t know what field of programming you want to get into, my recommendation would be JavaScript due to how versatile it is and its ability to do pretty much anything.
